Four-unit building. Apartment located on the second floor. Historic, older building with a beautiful living room that has hardwood flooring.
This is a great location for both exits for I-95. Commuting to either Waterville or the Brunswick and Portland areas is a close jaunt.
No laundry on-site, but facilities close by. No pets and absolutely no smoking on the premises. Trash pick up not included.
River Avenue is just on the outskirts of downtown Water Street which is loaded with amenities and sights to include restaurants (an authentic Italian restaurant that is top of the line), pizza shop, a few different varieties of banks, Reny’s, Hannaford, hardware, and other shops and sights. For the fishing enthusiast, Cobbosseecontee Stream runs between Hannaford and Water Street with brown trout catches just up by the dam. One review on Trip Advisor for the Gardiner Boat Landing where the Kennebec River is, “Well-kept boat launch with docks for easy boat/kayak/canoe access to the Kennebec River. Grassy area and benches for picnic-ing, Frisbee-playing, etc. Paved area with ample parking for boat trailers. The Rail Trail starts here and ends in Augusta, 6-7 miles north. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, ATM and grocery store.” There are always great day activities going on in this area. For instance the Art Walks and the Kennebec River Whatever Race are just a few. Gardiner is truly the Gateway to our capital, Augusta, making this a wonderful location for working commuters.
